MARATHI VISHWA COMMUNITY CENTER

On April 18, 2002, President of Marathi Vishwa signed a purchase agreement to a property for the organization. The property is located in the township of Laurence Harbor, NJ at 143 Route 35 (South) and is 200' x 200' in area. It has two existing buildings on it and has a parking capacity of 90 family cars.

One of the two buildings is fully air-conditioned, with a footprint of approximately 5000 sq. ft. that was used as a club house by the previous owner society. It has a large room that can accommodate ~200 persons. It has a dance floor in the center with large (10 seats each) banquet tables around it. In addition, there is a spacious side room, another room that previously housed a fully equipped bar, a hat closet, a medium size fully equipped kitchen and two restrooms. Enthusiastic MV members thoroughly cleaned the building, immediately after purchase and made it fully operational. It is now immediately available for smaller MV functions and activities.

The other building is a commercial building with a basement and a walk-in attic and has been leased to a tenant. The rent from the building would partially defray the maintenance expenses for the property.
