One of the two buildings is fully air-conditioned, with a footprint of approximately 5000 sq. ft. that was used as a club house by the previous owner society. It has a large room that can accommodate ~200 persons. It has a dance floor in the center with large (10 seats each) banquet tables around it. In addition, there is a specious side room, another room that previously housed a fully equipped bar, a hat closet, a medium size fully equipped kitchen and two restrooms. Enthusiastic MV members thoroughly cleaned the building, immediately after purchase and made it fully operational. It is now immediately available for smaller MV functions and activities.

The other building is a commercial building with a basement and an walk in attic and has been leased to a tenant. The rent from the building would partially defray the maintenance expenses for the property.

It was in 1995 that the membership of the organization in its general body meeting accepted the concept of having a community center. A task force extensively searched and purchased the present site that was well within our means.
